Ooh-Rah! Kim Ralich Featured in NALS Member Spotlight
We are proud of the many accomplishments of our staff, including Kim’s service as President of our local Paralegal and Legal Assistant organization and a retired Marine Master Sargeant. Here is the October issue of the NALS newsletter featuring Kim’s amazing achievements!
NALS Docket October 2012 — Member Spotlight
Kim Ralich
This month’s Member Spotlight is focused on Kim Ralich, who proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps for 21 years. She is a member of Cobb County Legal Secretaries Association (CCLSA), NALS of Georgia, and Region 4.
Kim joined NALS in June 2010 hoping to find a legal networking organization that could fill her void of leaving the Marines. Kim says that finding CCLSA has filled that void and that “CCLSA is an awesome group of people.” Currently, Kim is serving as CCLSA’s president, after having served as its president-elect from 2011-2012.
Her membership in NALS gives her an outlet of networking opportunities that help her to be a successful paralegal and provides opportunities for her to grow and enrich her legal knowledge through CLE and professional development.
Although Kim has been in the legal field for 16 years, she has been a paralegal with her present employer, the LoRusso Law Firm, for two years where she specializes in personal injury. When asked what has been the highlight of her career, Kim answered: “Finding a law firm after so many years as a Marine that was the right fit for me, a great group of people, and great environment. I love coming to work every day.”
Kim has been married for 20 years to Rick, who also is an active duty Marine. They have two children. Her daughter Brittany is 18, and her son Skyler is 12.
In addition to serving CCLSA as its chapter president, Kim volunteers her time as a foster parent for a dog rescue “road trip.” She also volunteers at local bar association events. In her spare time, she cheers on her daughter’s soccer team and her son’s football team, and when she is not doing those things, she loves to run.
